POSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old youth of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 3, 2025, and charged with;

  • Failing to comply with probation
  • Failing to comply with weapons prohibition
  • Distributing intimate images without consent
  • Distribution of child pornography
  • Making sexually explicit material available to persons under 14

It is alleged that on April 25, 2025, the youth was in possession of intimate images of a person under the age of 18 and distributed them on social media. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the youth was bound by a probation order and a weapons prohibition not to possess any weapons. A search warrant was executed at the youth’s residence, resulting in the seizure of a weapon. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

BREAK AND ENTER, MISCHIEF, POSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAIN BY CRIME, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old youth of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 3, 2025, and charged with;

  • Break and enter
  • Mischief under $5,000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

It is alleged that on Sept. 15, 2025, the youth attempted to break into a Montreal Road business, causing damage to the property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. It is further alleged that on the same date, the youth attended a church and caused damage to the property. It is also alleged that on Sept. 26, 2025, the youth was in possession of a stolen vehicle. Police were contacted and additional investigations ensued. On Oct. 03, 2025, the youth was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 3, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on Dec. 9, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend for prints and failed to do so. Furthermore, it is alleged that on June 19, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to appear. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On Oct. 3, 2025, the man was in custody at the courthouse on unrelated matters, and the warrant was executed. He was held for a bail hearing.

THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old youth of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 3, 2025, and charged with;

  • Uttering threats
  • Possession of a weapon
  • Carrying a concealed weapon.

It is alleged that on this date, the youth threatened to cause harm to his mother. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Later that day, the youth was located and taken into custody. During the arrest, it is alleged police located imitation firearms and a knife. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 3, 2025, and charged with assault. It is alleged that on this date, the woman assaulted her boyfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Oct. 21, 2025.

SEXUAL ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 33-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 3, 2025, and charged with sexual assault. It is alleged that on Sept. 27, 2025, an individual was jogging on the bike path when the man approached and sexually assaulted her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Oct. 3, 2025, the man was located and taken into custody by members of the Ontario Provincial Police, then turned over to CPS. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 37-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 4, 2025, and charged with;

  • Assault
  • Assault causing bodily harm
  • Fail to comply with probation

On Oct. 4, 2025, a member of CPS was on general patrol in the city and observed a dispute between the man and his ex-girlfriend. Police intervened and an investigation ensued. It is alleged that on this date, the man was bound by a probation order with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged the man choked and assaulted her. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 4, 2025, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. It is alleged that on this date, the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Oct. 30, 2025.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 5, 2025, and charged with assault with a weapon. It is alleged that on this date, the man assaulted another person with his vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Nov. 13, 2025.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 30-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 5, 2025, and charged with indecent exposure and failing to comply with probation. It is alleged on this date, the man was bound by a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged on this date, the man approached individuals who were not known to him and attempted to engage in a fight. When his request was declined, he exposed his genitals toward them. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Nov. 13, 2025.

IMPAIRED BY DRUGS

Cornwall, ON – A 33-year-old man of Quebec was arrested on Oct. 5, 2025, and charged with impaired operation. It is alleged on this date, the man was operating his vehicle under the influence of a drug. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Oct. 6, 2025.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old Williamstown man was arrested on October 6, 2025, and charged with three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

It is alleged that between September 3 and October 3, 2025, the man was bound by conditions not to communicate with, or be within a specified distance of, his ex-girlfriend. It is further alleged that during this period, he was within the prohibited distance on two occasions and communicated with her by text message. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

On October 6, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 6, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant.

It is alleged that on June 20, 2025, the man caused damage to his ex-girlfriend’s residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

On October 6, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed, and he was held for a bail hearing.

SHOPLIFTING, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 56-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 6, 2025, and charged with theft under $5,000 and failing to comply with probation.

It is alleged that on June 15, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged that on this date, he attended a Ninth Street business, selected merchandise, and left without attempting to pay for it. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

On October 6, 2025, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

SHOPLIFTING, ASSAULT PEACE OFFICER, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 45-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on October 6, 2025, and charged with five counts of failing to comply with probation and one count of assaulting a peace officer.

It is alleged that on August 8, 2025, the man was bound by three probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On this date, he attended a Second Street business, selected merchandise, and left without attempting to pay for it. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

It is further alleged that on August 13, 2025, the man was bound by two probation orders with the same condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On this date, while in custody at the Cornwall Courthouse, the man was not complying with the direction of a Special Constable and was placed in a cell. After the cell door was closed, he assaulted the officer. An investigation ensued.

On October 6, 2025, the man was in custody at the courthouse for unrelated matters and was charged accordingly. He was held for a bail hearing.

WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 7, 2025, on the strength of outstanding warrants.

It is alleged that on April 17, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is further alleged that the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to meet with a probation officer immediately upon request, attend counselling, and provide proof of attendance. He failed to comply with these conditions, and an additional warrant was issued for his arrest.

On October 7, 2025, the man was located, the warrants were executed, and he was held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 7, 2025, and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints and four counts of failing to comply with probation.

It is alleged that on September 25, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters to be fingerprinted and failed to do so. An investigation ensued.

Furthermore, it is alleged that on October 7, 2025, the man was bound by two probation orders with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and not to possess any weapons. On this date, police received a report of an individual breaking into vehicles. Police attended, located the man, and took him into custody. During the arrest, officers located two knives in his possession.

He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO ATTEND COURT

Cornwall, ON – A 60-year-old Akwesasne woman was arrested on October 7, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant.

It is alleged that on September 9, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so, resulting in a warrant being issued for her arrest. On October 7, 2025, she was located by members of the RCMP on unrelated matters and taken into custody. The warrant was subsequently executed, and she was held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 52-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant.

It is alleged that on July 30, 2025, the man, who was bound by a probation order with the condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, was hired to perform work for an individual. While at the job site, he allegedly removed property without the owner’s permission. Police were contacted and an investigation was initiated.

On October 7, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on November 13, 2025.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on October 7, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant.

It is alleged that on June 8, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so, resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest. On October 7, 2025, he was located during an unrelated matter and taken into custody. The warrant was subsequently executed, and he was released to appear in court on November 13, 2025.
