FAIL TO COMPLY, CRIMINAL HARASSMENT
Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 8, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with probation order as well as criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate. On Sept. 30, 2025, members of the Cornwall Police Service were dispatched to an intimate partner violence call, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged he harassed his ex-girlfriend by repeatedly communicating with her after being asked to cease contact. On Oct. 8, 2025, CPS officers were dispatched to a harassment complaint, and an investigation ensued. The man was located by police, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was later released to appear in court on Oct. 30, 2025.
IMPAIRED, REFUSAL
Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 8, 2025, and charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, as well as failure or refusal to comply with demand. On Oct. 8, 2025, police were conducting speed enforcement in the area of Brookdale Avenue which led to a traffic stop. The ensuing investigation revealed the man was allegedly operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. While police were conducting an impaired operation investigation, the man allegedly refused to comply with the demand to complete a standardized field sobriety test. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on Oct. 30, 2025.
