CAUSING A DISTURBANCE, UTTERING THREATS
Cornwall, ON – A 37-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 4, 2025, and charged with causing a disturbance and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. On April 4, 2025, members of the Cornwall Police Service responded to a noise complaint and an investigation ensued. The man was located by police and it is alleged he was uncooperative and caused a disturbance. While being taken into custody, it is also alleged the man made threats to assault an officer. He was charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on May 6, 2025.
FAIL TO COMPLY, ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 4, 2025, and charged with the following:
- Fail to comply with release order
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Assault
It is alleged on April 3, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not communicate or be within 300 metres of his ex-girlfriend. It is also alleged on this date, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. Furthermore, it is alleged on this date, the man was within 300 metres of his ex-girlfriend and also assaulted the woman’s current boyfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 4, 2025, the man was located by members of the CPS. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 4, 2025, and charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on April 4, 2025, the woman attended a Brookdale Avenue business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on May 6, 2025.
FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – A 47-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 4, 2025, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on April 4, 2025, the man was bound by two separate probation orders, each with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Brookdale Avenue business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on May 6, 2025.

Cornwall, ON – A 60-year-old Akwesasne woman was arrested on April 4, 2025, and charged with the following:
- Fail to comply with release order
- Theft under $5,000 – shoplifting
- Assault
It is alleged on April 4, 2025, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not attend a specific Ninth Street East business. It is also alleged on this date, the woman attended the Ninth Street East business she was prohibited from visiting and attempted to steal merchandise. Furthermore, it is alleged, she assaulted a Loss Prevention Officer at the business. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on May 6, 2025.
FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING, ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Ingleside woman was arrested on April 4, 2025, and charged with the following:
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Theft under $5,000 – shoplifting
- Two counts of assault
It is alleged on April 4, 2025, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the woman attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Furthermore, it is alleged, she assaulted two Loss Prevention Officers at the business. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – A 51-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 5, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged from Nov. 15, 2024, to Jan. 23, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to report in person to a probation officer. It is also alleged he failed to report to the probation officer during this period of time, and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On April 5, 2025, members of the CPS responded to an unwanted person complaint and an investigation ensued. The man was located by police. The warrant was executed, and he was released to appear in court on May 6, 2025.
MISCHIEF, FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 5, 2025, and charged with mischief under $5,000. On April 5, 2025, police responded to a domestic dispute and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on April 4, 2025, the man damaged his spouse’s cell phone. He was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The man was released to appear in court on April 29, 2025.
Later on April 5, 2025, the 35-year-old man was once again arrested and charged with fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged after being released on this date, the man was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not attend anywhere his spouse lives, works or frequents. It is also alleged on this date, he returned to her residence and banged on her door. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located by members of the CPS. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – A 47-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 6, 2025, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. In the early morning hours of April 6, 2025, a member of the CPS conducted a traffic stop in the area of Thirteenth Street West and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the man was operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on May 1, 2025.
WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, ASSAULT, FAIL TO ATTEND, UTTERING THREATS
Cornwall, ON – A 45-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 6, 2025, on the strength of outstanding warrants and charged with the following:
- Five counts of fail to comply with probation order
- Five counts of fail to comply with release order
- Assault
- Fail to attend four court as per undertaking
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
It is alleged on Jan. 24, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, to not have any communication with a specific individual and to not be within 100 metres of any place the individual is known to live, work or frequent. It is also alleged on this date, the man was also bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to not contact or communicate with the specific individual, to not be within 100 metres of any place the individual is known to live, work or frequent and to not attend the individual’s residence. Furthermore, it is alleged on this date, the man attended the specific individual’s residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was subsequently issued for the man’s arrest.
On Feb. 1, 2025, police were dispatched to a disturb the peace call and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man assaulted an individual known to him. A second warrant was issued for his arrest.
It is alleged on Feb. 26, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
It is also alleged from Feb. 12, 2025, to March 18, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to report in person to a probation officer. He failed to do so, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
It is alleged on April 5, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to not communicate in any way with his son and to not be within 100 metres of his son. It is alleged on this date, the man was in contact with his son. Furthermore, it is alleged on this date, the man made threats toward two individuals. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
On April 6, 2025, the man was located by a CPS officer who was on general patrol. The warrants were executed, he was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – A 67-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 6, 2025, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on March 7, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to the CPS. He failed to do so and a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is also alleged on March 14, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to the CPS. He failed to do so once again and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 6, 2025, police responded to an unwanted person call and an investigation ensued. The man was located by members of the CPS. The warrants were executed, he was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 15, 2025.
