WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Dale Masson, 57, of no fixed address was arrested on Aug. 16, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Aug. 02, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Aug. 16, 2024, the woman was located and the warrant was executed. She was held for a bail hearing.

ROBBERY, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Tavish Brennan, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 16, 2024, and charged with robbery and failing to comply with a recognizance. It is alleged on Aug. 16, 2024, the man was bound by a recognizance to keep the peace with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On this date, it is alleged the man attended a Ninth Street business, selected merchandise, and left the store without attempting to pay for it. When stopped by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer, he attempted to flee and assaulted the employee. He was taken into custody, police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Sept. 24, 2024.

WARRANT, ASSAULT, RESIST ARREST, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Padocia Cornelius, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 16, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with assault, failing to comply with release order and resisting a peace officer. It is alleged on May 24, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to a bail supervision program on this date. She failed to do so and a warrant was issued for her arrest. It is also alleged on Aug. 06, 2024, the woman attempted to take merchandise without attempting to pay from a Water Street Business. When stopped by the store’s security, she assaulted the employee. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Furthermore, on Aug. 16, 2024,it is alleged the woman was bound by a release order to reside at an approved address. On this date the woman was located during an unrelated matter. While being taken into custody, it is alleged the woman resisted arrest. Once taken into custody, and investigation ensued revealing the woman was not residing at an approved address. The warrants were executed, she was charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Jonny Zaube, 35, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 16, 2024, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. It is alleged on Aug. 16, 2024, the man was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. An investigation ensued. He was waken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court of Sept. 10, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Megan Julien, 27, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 17, 2024, and charged with failing to comply with a release order. It is alleged on or about Aug. 08, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to the bail supervision program. She failed to do so and police were contacted. On Aug. 17, 2024, the woman was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

HARRASSMENT, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Sylvia Lascelle, 53, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 17, 2024, and charged with harassment and uttering threats. It is alleged on July 21, 2024, the woman repeatedly engaged in conduct that caused another individual to fear their safety and threated to harm an animal. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Aug. 17, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Sept. 24, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on Aug. 17, 2024, and charged with failing to comply with release order. It is alleged on Aug. 16, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not communicate with her ex-boyfriend. It is alleged on this date, the woman contacted him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Aug. 17, 2024, the woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on Sept. 24, 2024. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in this matter.

SHOPLIFTING, FAIL TO COMPLY, POSSESSION OF SCHEDULED SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – Aaron Collins, 36, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 17, 2024, and charged with;

  • Theft under $5,000
  • Fail to comply with probation x2
  • Possession of a scheduled substance

It is alleged on Aug. 17, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and to not possess any drugs. On this date, it is alleged the man attended a Ninth Street business, selected merchandise, and left the store with attempting to pay. He was stopped by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. An investigation ensued. While being taken into custody, police located a scheduled substance on the man. He was charged accordingly and released to appear on court on Sept. 19, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Erika Campbell, 47, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 17, 2024, and charged with failing to comply with probation and release order. It is alleged on Aug. 17, 2024, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and a release order with the relevant condition to remain in her residence between specific times. On this date, it is alleged the woman was located by a CPS officer outside of her residence during the time period specified in her release order. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Oct. 03, 2024.

POSSESSION OF SCHEDULED SUBSTANCES, SELLING CANNABIS, BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, ON – Malcolm Pyper, 28, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 18, 2024, and charged with;

  • Possession of scheduled substance x3
  • Possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling
  • Break and enter

It is alleged on Aug. 13, 2024, the man was in possession of scheduled substances, and selling cannabis out of the residence he was residing at. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Furthermore, it is alleged on Aug. 17, 2024, the man broke into a residence and removed property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 45-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Aug. 18, 2024, and charged with failing to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on Aug. 15, 2024, the man was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not be within a specified distance of his ex-common-law partner’s residence. On this date, it is alleged the man attended the woman’s residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Aug. 18, 2024, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Ryan Meek, 40, and Kathleen Ferguson, 38, both of Cornwall, were arrested on Aug. 18, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on Aug. 18, 2024, they attended a Ninth Street business, selected merchandise and left the store without attempting to pay for it. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. They were taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Sept. 24, 2024.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 50-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Aug. 18, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on June 20, 2024, the man assaulted his girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Aug. 18, 2024, the man was located and the warrant was executed. He was released to appear in court on Sept. 17, 2024. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Jennifer Larose, 32, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 18, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on Aug. 18, 2024, the woman attended a Ninth Street business, selected merchandise, and left the store without attempting to pay. She was taken into custody by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer, police were contacted and an investigation ensued. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Sept. 24, 2024.
