DOMESTIC MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Aug.19, 2024, and charged with mischief under $5,000. It is alleged on Aug. 10, 2024, the man damaged his girlfriend’s property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Aug. 19, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Sept. 03, 2024. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Terry Lauzon, 24, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 19, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Aug. 08, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Aug. 19, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on Sept. 24, 2024.
HARRASSMENT
Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old youth of Cornwall was arrested on Aug. 19, 2024, and charged with criminal harassment. It is alleged between March 16, 2024, and Aug. 19, 2024, the youth repeatedly communicated with another individual causing that person to fear for their safety. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court at a later date. The youth’s name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old woman was arrested on Aug. 19, 2024, on Aug. 19, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on July 13, 2024, the woman assaulted her boyfriend causing him to sustain injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Aug. 19, 2024, police located the woman during an unrelated occurrence. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on Sept 17, 2024. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
