WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Gabriel Frattaroli, 19, of Cornwall, was arrested on August 30th, 2023, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on the 20th of September, 2022, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 30th, 2023, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on October 5th, 2023.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Justin Sergerie, 26, of no fixed address, was arrested on August 30th, 2023, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on August 24th, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 30th, 2023, the man was located and the warrant was executed. He was released to appear in court on October 5th, 2023.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, POSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR DANGEROUS PURPOSE

Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on August 30th, 2023, and charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose. It is alleged that on August 30th, 2023, she struck another member of her household with a brick. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on September 26th, 2023. Her name was not released as it could identify the victim.

FAIL TO RE-ATTEND COURT, THEFT UNDER $5000, BREAK AND ENTER, BREACH, POSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME

Cornwall, ON – Steven Coleman, 39, of Cornwall, was arrested on August 31st, 2023,  on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with the following as a result of multiple occurrences;

  • Six counts of theft under $5000.
  • One count of fraud under $5000
  • Four counts of break and enter.
  • One count of breach of release order.
  • Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

The allegations are as follows;

  • On June 15th, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. 
  • On or about June 26th, 2023, the man attended a Brookdale Avenue restaurant and took a donation box without permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On July 4th, 2023, the man entered a residence and took items without permission of the occupants. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On July 8th, 2023, the man took another person’s bank card and made purchases without permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On August 16th, 2023, the man asked to borrow and individual’s phone to make a phone call, and fled with the device. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On August 22nd, 2023, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not be outside of his residence without his surety. On this date, it is alleged the man attended a Pitt Street Business, and took the owner’s cell phone without permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • Also on August 22nd, 2023, the man entered a retirement residence and took and employee’s cell phone. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On August 24th, 2023, the man took a package off the front porch of a residence without permission of the occupants. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On August 27th, 2023, the man entered a residence without permission and took multiple items and removed jewelry from the occupant. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • Also on August 27th, 2023, it is alleged that the man attended a Brookdale Avenue business and took a donation box without permission of staff. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On August 29th, 2023, it is alleged the man attended a Pitt Street business and took a donation envelope without permission of staff. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

On August 31st, 2023, the man was located and the warrant was executed. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
