IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Brian Rouleau, 78, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 22, 2023, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. It is alleged that on Dec.22, 2023, the man failed to stop at a R.I.D.E. program checkpoint and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the man was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 16, 2024.

ROBBERY, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Amanda Flaro-Fox, 36, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 23, 2023, and charged with robbery and failing to comply with release order. It is alleged that on Dec. 23, 2023, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in her residence between a specific time. On this date, it is alleged that the woman was not in her residence during the specific time she was prohibited from being away and attended a Ninth Street business, selected merchandise and left the store without attempting to pay and assaulted a staff member who stopped her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old man of Casselman was arrested on Dec. 23, 2023, and charged with break and enter. It is alleged that on Dec. 23, 2023, the man broke into his girlfriend’s residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

HARASSMENT, RESIST ARREST

Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old man was arrested on Dec. 24, 2023, and charged with two counts of harassment and one count of resisting arrest. It is alleged that on Dec. 24, 2023, the man harassed two individuals by attending watching their residence and engaged in conduct that made them fear for their safety. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was taken into custody. While being taken into custody, it is alleged that the man resisted arrest. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victims in outstanding matters before the court.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 24, 2023, and charged with failing to comply with release order. It is alleged that on Dec. 24, 2023, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not be within a specific distance of his spouse. It is alleged that on this date, the man attended where his spouse was residing. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

FAIL TO COMPLY, UTTER THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 12-year-old youth was arrested on Dec. 24, 2023, and charged with failing to comply with release order and uttering threats. It is alleged that on Dec. 24, 2023, the youth was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to abide by the house rules. It is alleged that on this date, the youth was not abiding by the house rules. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the youth threatened to cause harm to a police officer. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

REFUSAL

Cornwall, ON – Cody D’Heilly-Labelle, 36, of Martintown, was arrested on Dec. 24, 2023, and charged with refusal. It is alleged that on Dec. 24, 2023, police were contacted to investigate a motor vehicle collision. During the investigation, the man refused  to provide a suitable sample of his breath. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 16, 2023.

REFUSAL

Cornwall, ON -  Brandon Benedict, 34, of Akwesasne was arrested on Dec. 25, 2023, and charged with refusal. It is alleged that on Dec. 25, 2023, the man attended the Port of Entry and was investigated by Border Service’s Officers for operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. During the investigation, it is alleged the man refused to provide a suitable sample of his breath. Police were contacted. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 16, 2023.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, REFUSAL

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old man was arrested on Dec. 25, 2023, and charged with assault and refusal. It is alleged that on Dec. 25, 2023, the man assaulted his ex-girlfriend and then left her residence in his vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, and the man was investigated for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. It is alleged that during the investigation, the man refused to provide a suitable sample of his breath. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 30, 2023. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 68-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 25, 2023, and charged with two counts of assault and one count of assault with a weapon. It is alleged that on Dec. 25, 2023, the man assaulted his wife and step-daughter. It is also alleged he struck his step-daughter with a piece of furniture. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old youth was arrested on Dec. 25, 2023, and charged with uttering threats. It is alleged that on Dec. 25, 2023, the youth sent another individual a message on social media threatening to cause harm. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The youth was located, taken into custody, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
