IMPAIRED OPERATION, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Gwen Gray, 49, of Akwesasne, was arrested on Dec. 24, 2024, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. It is alleged that on Dec. 24, 2024, the woman attended the Port of Entry and was operating her vehicle under the influence of alcohol. She was taken into custody by Border Service’s Officers and police were contacted. An investigation ensued. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Jan. 17, 2025.
FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – David Lafrance, 42, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 24, 2024, and charged with one count of failing to comply with release order. It is alleged on Dec. 24, 2024, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to CPS between a specific date and time every week and failed to do so. An investigation ensued. On the same date, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 28, 2025.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Christina Terriah, 32, of Alexandria, was arrested on Dec. 25, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Nov. 05, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Dec. 25, 2024, police responded to an unrelated call for service and the woman was located. The warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 25, 2024, and charged with;
- Two counts of assault
- Assault with a weapon
- Mischief under $5,000
It is alleged on Dec. 25, 2024, the man caused damage to enter his residence and struck his partner and pushed another individual inside. It is also alleged the man subsequently struck his boyfriend using a portable household appliance. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victims.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Louis Lafave, 53, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 25, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Oct. 10, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. On Dec. 25, 2024, police were contacted to an unrelated occurrence and the man was located. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS
Cornwall, ON – Chloe Lecavalier-Lavigne, 32, was arrested on Dec. 26, 2024, and charged with one count of failing to attend for prints. It is alleged on Dec. 16, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters to be fingerprinted and failed to do so. An investigation ensued. On Dec. 26, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 28, 2025.
FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS
Cornwall, ON – Kian Legault, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 26, 2024, and charged with failing to attend for prints. It is alleged on Dec. 11, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend for prints and failed to do so. An investigation ensued. On Dec. 26, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 28, 2025.
UNLAWFULLY IN A DWELLING, ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON
Cornwall, ON – Andrea Bedard, 45, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 26, 2024, and charged with the following;
- Unlawfully in a dwelling
- Assault
- Assault with a weapon
It is alleged on Dec. 25, 2024, the woman entered a residence without permission from the occupants and assaulted an individual by body checking them and attempting to assault them using a tool. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Dec. 26, 2024, the woman was located on an unrelated call for service. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.
FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – A 43-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 27, 2024, and charged with failing to comply with release order. It is alleged on Dec. 24, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order to not communicate with her boyfriend. It is alleged that on this date, and shortly after being released from police custody and the imposition of the release order, the woman messaged her ex-boyfriend on a social media application. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Dec. 27, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim of her outstanding matters before the court.
