WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Jessika Summer, 24, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 21, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Feb. 20, 2025, the individual was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for their arrest. On Feb. 21, 2025, the individual attended police headquarters. The warrant was executed, and they were held for a bai hearing.
ARSON
Cornwall, ON – Ernest Corbiere, 48, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 21, 2025, and charged with arson – damage to property. It is alleged on Feb. 4, 2025, the man set a motor vehicle on fire. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 21, 2025, the man was located by members of the CPS. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
FLIGHT FROM PEACE OFFICER
Cornwall, ON – David Lamorie, 43, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 21, 2025, and charged with flight from peace officer. On Feb. 21, 2025, a CPS officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the area of Marlborough Street and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man fled from police. After a brief pursuit, he was taken into custody. The man was charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on April 3, 2025.
FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Feb. 22, 2025, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on Feb. 18, 2025, the youth was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to remain in his residence from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. It is also alleged on this date, the youth failed to abide by the conditions of his curfew. Furthermore, it is alleged on Feb. 21, 2025, the youth was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not contact his ex-girlfriend. It is also alleged on this date, the youth communicated with his ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 22, 2025, he attended police headquarters to address the matters. The youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – Michael Johnston, 56, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 22, 2025, and charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on Feb. 22, 2025, the man attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The man was released to appear in court on March 25, 2025.

Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 22, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on Feb. 21, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not contact his ex-girlfriend. It is also alleged on this date, the man communicated with his ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 22, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 18, 2025. The man’s name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.
BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE
Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on Feb. 22, 2025, and charged with two counts of breach of recognizance. It is alleged on Feb. 21, 2025, the woman was bound by a recognizance with the relevant conditions to not be within 150 metres of her ex-boyfriend and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the woman was within 150 metres of her ex-boyfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 22, 2025, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 1, 2025. The woman’s name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.
FAIL TO COMPLY, ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – Robert Perralte, 41, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 23, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and assault. It is alleged on Feb. 23, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man assaulted an individual known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The man was released to appear in court on April 3, 2025.

Cornwall, ON – Laura Buckley, 27, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 23, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on Feb. 23, 2025, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 23, 2025, and charged with domestic assault. On Feb. 23, 2025, members of the CPS responded to a domestic dispute and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man assaulted his girlfriend. He was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. The man’s name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.
