FAIL TO COMPLY, POSSESSION SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE FOR PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING, POSSESSION PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME
Cornwall, ON – Marissa Collette, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 25, 2025, and charged with the following:
- Fail to comply with undertaking
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
- Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
On Feb. 25, 2025, members of the Cornwall Police Service executed a search warrant, and an investigation ensued.
It is alleged the woman was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not communicate, directly or indirectly, with a specific individual. It is also alleged the woman was in possession of a Schedule I substance (methamphetamine) for the purpose of trafficking. Furthermore, it is alleged, the woman was in possession of packaging material as well as a large sum of currency. The investigation also revealed the woman was allegedly in communication with the individual she was prohibited from contacting.
The woman was located by police, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was held for a bail hearing.
WARRANTS
Cornwall, ON – Vincent Norris-Pelletier, 21, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 26, 2025, on the strength of outstanding warrants. It is alleged on Dec. 12, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. It is also alleged on Jan. 9, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. Another warrant was issued for his arrest. On Feb. 26, 2025, the man was located by members of the CPS. The warrant was executed, and he was held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Marc Struthers, 51, of Lunenburg, was arrested on Feb. 26, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Jan. 21, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Feb. 26, 2025, police responded to a shop theft complaint and an investigation ensued. The man was located and the warrant was executed. He was held for a bail hearing.
UTTERING THREATS
Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Feb. 26, 2025, and charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. It is alleged on Feb. 25, 2025, the youth threatened to kill two other students. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 26, 2025, the youth was located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
FAIL TO COMPLY, ARSON
Cornwall, ON – Andrew Brown, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on Feb. 26, 2025, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of arson – damage to property. It is alleged on Feb. 4, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not possess any explosive substance. It is also alleged on this date, the man set a motor vehicle on fire. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Feb. 26, 2025, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 3, 2025.
