FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – Dorian Belanger, 23, of Cornwall, was arrested on Jan. 21, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on Jan. 14, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to the Cornwall Police Service weekly as required. It is alleged on this date, he failed to do so. On Jan. 21, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Feb. 25, 2025.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE, DANGEROUS OPERATION
Cornwall, ON – Ashley Rivette, 29, of Cornwall, was arrested on Jan. 21, 2025, and charged with theft of motor vehicle and dangerous operation. It is alleged on Dec. 27, 2024, the woman stole a motor vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. It is also alleged on this date, the woman was observed by a member of the CPS to be operating the motor vehicle in a dangerous manner. On Jan. 21, 2025, she attended police headquarters to address a separate matter. The woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on Feb. 25, 2025.
SHOPLIFTING, ROBBERY WITH THEFT
Cornwall, ON – Cody Beauchamp, 32, of St. Andrews West, was arrested on Jan. 21, 2025, and charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting as well as robbery with theft. It is alleged on Jan. 21, 2025, the man attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Later on Jan. 21, 2025, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the item. It is also alleged the man engaged in a physical altercation with the Loss Prevention Officer at the Ninth Street West business. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located by police, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was later released to appear in court on March 6, 2025.
FAIL TO ATTEND
Cornwall, ON – Stephen Roberts, 35, of Cornwall, was arrested on Jan. 21, 2025, and charged with fail to attend for fingerprints as per undertaking. It is alleged on Jan. 17, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. On Jan. 21, 2025, the man attended the CPS to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Feb. 25, 2025.
FAIL TO ATTEND
Cornwall, ON – Nicholas Atchison, 34, of Cornwall, was arrested on Jan. 21, 2025, and charged with fail to attend for fingerprints as per undertaking. It is alleged on Jan. 17, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. On Jan. 21, 2025, the man attended the CPS to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Feb. 25, 2025.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Prabhjot Singh, 23, of Ottawa, was arrested on Jan. 22, 2025, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. Early on Jan. 22, 2025, police responded to an impaired driver complaint in the area of Second Street East and an investigation ensued. The man was located by police and the investigation revealed he was allegedly operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on Feb. 6, 2025.

There were 71 calls for service in the City of Cornwall over the last 24 hours (8 a.m. yesterday to 8 a.m. today). The CPS reserves the right to not post all calls for service in order to protect the identity of the victims.
