FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Lee Trepanier, 53, of Cornwall, was arrested on Jan. 26, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with appearance notice. It is alleged on Sept. 14, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and failed to do so. On Jan. 26, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Feb. 27, 2024.

ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Jan. 26, 2024, and charged with assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged on Jan. 23, 2024, the youth assaulted another person known to him, causing injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Jan. 26, 2024, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions in the Youth Justice Criminal Act.

WARRANTS, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Michelle David, 37, of Cornwall, was arrested on Jan. 26, 2024, on the strength of outstanding warrants and additionally charged with fail to comply with probation order and fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on Jan. 3, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. It is also alleged on Jan. 9, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. Furthermore, it is alleged on Jan. 26, 2024, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. Finally, it is alleged on Jan. 26, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to Cornwall Police every Friday and sign in as required. She failed to do so. On Jan. 26, 2024, police responded to a suspicious person complaint at a Second Street East business. An investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 7, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on Jan. 26, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order and two counts of breach of recognizance. It is alleged on Jan. 26, 2024, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the woman was bound by a separate probation order with the relevant condition to not communicate with her ex-boyfriend. Finally, it is alleged on this date, the woman was bound by a recognizance with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not communicate with her ex-boyfriend. On Jan. 26, 2024, police responded to a domestic dispute and an investigation ensued. It was revealed the woman was allegedly in communication with the man. Later on Jan. 26, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 7, 2024. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Natasha Lalonde, 39, of Cornwall, was arrested on Jan. 27, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Dec. 28, 2023, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Jan. 27, 2024, the woman was located and the warrant was executed. She was held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jessica Prunner, 34, of Cornwall, was arrested on Jan. 27, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Dec. 5, 2023, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Jan. 27, 2024, the woman was located, the warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT, UTTERING THREATS, MISCHIEF UNDER $5,000

Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Jan. 27, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Assault
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
  • Mischief under $5,000

It is alleged on Jan. 21, 2024, the man assaulted his step-father, made threats to the man and damaged property in his residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Jan. 27, 2024, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Feb. 27, 2024. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, HARASSING COMMUNICATIONS, THEFT FROM MAIL, BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Jan. 28, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Criminal harassment
  • Harassing communications
  • Theft from mail
  • Break and enter

It is alleged the man harassed his ex-wife, stole her mail and entered her residence without permission to do so. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Jan. 28, 2024, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

UTTERING THREATS, FAIL TO LEAVE PREMISES, ASSAULT PEACE OFFICER, RESIST PEACE OFFICER

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Jan. 28, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
  • Fail to leave premises when directed
  • Two counts assault a peace officer
  • Resist peace officer

It is alleged on Jan. 28, 2024, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence, failed to leave when asked to, and made threats. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, at which point he resisted arrest and assaulted police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 7, 2024. The man’s name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on Jan. 28, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on Jan. 28, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not communicate with a specific individual and to not be within 50 metres of any place the individual is known to work, reside or frequent. It is alleged on this date, the woman attended a residence the individual frequents. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and released to appear in court on March 7, 2024. Her name was not released to protect the identify of the victim.
