HARASSMENT, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Jan. 4, 2024, and charged with;

  •  Harassment
  • Two counts of failing to comply with probation
  • Failing to comply with undertaking
  • Fail to comply with non-communication order

It is alleged that between Nov. 15 and 26, 2023, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not contact his ex-girlfriend. It is also alleged that between theses dates, the man was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not communicate with his ex-girlfriend, and a non-communication order with the relevant condition to not communicate with the same condition. It is also alleged that between these dates, the man repeatedly contacted his ex-girlfriend from custody. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Jan. 4, 2024, the man was in custody at the Cornwall Courthouse and police were contacted. He was charged accordingly and scheduled for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Corinne Pilecki, 54, of Cornwall, was arrested on Jan. 4, 2024 on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on Dec. 4, 2023, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Jan. 4, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.
