DOMESTIC MISCHIEF, HARASSING COMMUNICATIONS
Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on Jan. 7, 2025, and charged with domestic mischief and harassing communications. It is alleged on Jan. 7, 2025, the woman attended her ex-boyfriend’s residence and smashed a window on his motor vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Further investigation also revealed the woman allegedly sent harassing communications to the man. She was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Jan. 28, 2025. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.
WARRANT, DANGEROUS OPERATION
Cornwall, ON – Tyrese Mwampokolo, 21, of Akwesasne, was arrested on Jan. 7, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with dangerous operation. On Nov. 19, 2024, members of the Cornwall Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Water Street and Augustus Street and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man operated his motor vehicle in a dangerous manner and fled the scene after the collision. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Jan. 7, 2025, the man was taken into custody by members of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and subsequently turned over to the CPS. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT, ASSAULT, ASSAULT PEACE OFFICER, RESIST PEACE OFFICER
Cornwall, ON – Kimberly Cook, 29, of Akwesasne, was arrested on Jan. 7, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with assault as well as three counts of assault a peace officer and one count of resist a peace officer. It is alleged on July 26, 2024, the woman punched an individual in the face. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for the woman’s arrest. On Jan. 7, 2025, the woman was taken into custody by members of the CBSA, where it is alleged she assaulted three officers and resisted arrest. She was subsequently turned over to the CPS. The warrant was executed, she was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Feb. 11, 2025.
