ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – Dylan Secord, 20, of Cornwall, was arrested on Jan. 8, 2024, and charged with assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged on Jan. 1, 2024, the man assaulted a male resulting in an injury. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Jan. 8, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Feb. 8, 2024.

MISCHIEF, ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on Jan. 8, 2024, and charged with mischief under $5,000 and assault with intent to resist arrest. It is alleged on Jan. 8, 2024, the woman damaged her boyfriend’s property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. It is also alleged the woman resisted arrest and kicked the officer. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Jan. 8, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on Jan. 8, 2024, the man was bound by an undertaking with the relevant conditions to not communicate with his ex-girlfriend and to not attend her residence. It is also alleged on this date, the man communicated with, and attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
