WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, POSSESSION PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, SHOPLIFTING, BREAK AND ENTER, MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – James MacFarlane, 39, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 17, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with the following:

  • 15 counts of fail to comply with probation order
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Three counts of theft under $5,000
  • Break and enter a place - commit indictable offence
  • Mischief under $5,000

It is alleged on June 13, 2024, the man was bound by three separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man was in possession of property stolen from a Pitt Street business. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

It is alleged on June 21, 2024, the man was bound by three separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Marlborough Street business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is alleged on June 24, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man broke into a McConnell Avenue business, damaged property at the business and stole items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for the man’s arrest.

It is alleged later on June 24, 2024, the man was bound by three separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is alleged on June 27, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and two other separate probation orders with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not attend a specific Second Street East business. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended the Second Street East business he was prohibited from attending, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the item. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

On July 17, 2024, the man was located by police. The warrants were executed and he was charged accordingly. The man was held for a bail hearing.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Joshua McCormick, 42, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 17, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on July 17, 2024, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on Aug. 22, 2024.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Adam Albers, 36, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 17, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on July 17, 2024, the man attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on Aug. 22, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – William Litwinowich, 40, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 17, 2024, and charged with three counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged on July 17, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on Aug. 22, 2024.

WARRANTS, FAIL TO ATTEND, FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING, FLIGHT FROM PEACE OFFICER, DANGEROUS OPERATION

Cornwall, ON – Aaron Campeau, 41, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 17, 2024, on the strength of outstanding warrants and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of fail to comply with release order
  • Fail to attend court
  • Five counts of theft under $5,000
  • Flight from peace officer
  • Dangerous operation

It is alleged on Oct. 23, 2023, and Nov. 2, 2023, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to report to a bail supervisor and to reside at an address approved by the bail supervisor. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the man failed to report to a bail supervisor and failed to provide a new address. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is alleged on Nov. 14, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is alleged on June 6, 2024, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is alleged on June 21, 2024, the man attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the item. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

It is alleged on June 30, 2024, the man attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the item. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is alleged on July 11, 2024, the man attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

It is alleged on July 17, 2024, the man attended a Vincent Massey Drive business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. It is also alleged the man fled police, while dangerously operating his e-bike.

On July 17, 2024, the man was located and taken into custody. The warrants were executed, he was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT, DOMESTIC ASSAULT WITH WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old Luskville, QC, woman was arrested on July 17, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with domestic assault with a weapon. It is alleged on June 12, 2024, the woman assaulted her boyfriend with a weapon. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On July 17, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on Aug. 6, 2024. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
