FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 30-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 2, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged on July 2, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not have any contact with his ex-girlfriend. On July 2, 2024, police responded to a disturbance call and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the man was in contact with his ex-girlfriend. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on July 2, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on July 2, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to not have contact with her ex-boyfriend and to abide by her curfew. On July 2, 2024, police responded to a disturbance call and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the woman was in contact with her ex-boyfriend and failed to abide by her curfew. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
