FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Louis Delorme, 44, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 14, 2024, and charged with 12 counts of fail to comply with probation order and three counts of theft under $5,000.

  • It is alleged on June 6, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, he was bound by a third probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not attend a specific business. Furthermore, it is alleged on this date, the man attended the Second Street East business he was prohibited from attending, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • It is alleged on June 13, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, he was bound by a third probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not attend a specific business. Furthermore, it is alleged on this date, the man attended the Ninth Street West business he was prohibited from attending, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

On June 14, 2024, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Samantha Derouchie, 31, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 14, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with two counts of fail to comply with release order and one count of fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged on May 27, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to her bail supervisor. It is also alleged on this date, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. Furthermore, it is alleged on this date, the woman failed to report to her bail supervisor. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On June 14, 2024, police responded to an unwanted person call and the woman was located. The warrant was executed, she was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Aug. 8, 2024.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Ryan Grignon-Paquette, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 14, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on June 14, 2024, the man attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on July 30, 2024.

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Jurnee Buckshot, 28, of Akwesasne, was arrested on June 14, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on Feb. 29, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to her bail supervisor. She failed to do so and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On June 14, 2024, members of the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service took the woman into custody on a separate matter, and she was subsequently turned over to the CPS. The warrant was executed, the woman was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 30, 2024.

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Melanie Deschamps, 29, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 14, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on May 21, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in her residence between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. She failed to do so and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On June 14, 2024, the woman was located by police, the warrant was executed and she was charged accordingly. The woman was released to appear in court on July 29, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY, DOMESTIC ASSAULT, WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 15, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and domestic assault. It is alleged on June 15, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man assaulted his girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation also revealed the man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. It is alleged on June 11, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 15, 2024, the man was located and taken into custody. The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 9, 2024. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the original matter.

ASSAULT WITH WEAPON, ADMINISTER NOXIOUS THING

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old youth and a 17-year-old youth, both of Cornwall, were arrested on June 15, 2024, and each charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and one count of administer noxious thing. It is alleged on May 14, 2024, the youths assaulted two individuals known to them by administering a noxious thing toward the individuals. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 15, 2024, the youths attended police headquarters to address the matter. They were each taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Their names were not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT, SEXUAL ASSAULT, SEXUAL INTERFERENCE, INDECENT EXPOSURE, SHOPLIFTING, OBSTRUCT PEACE OFFICER

Cornwall, ON – A 46-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 15, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with the following:

  • Sexual assault
  • Sexual interference
  • Indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Obstruct peace officer

It is alleged the man previously sexually assaulted his girlfriend’s daughter, inappropriately touched the youth and exposed himself to her for a sexual purpose. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for the man’s arrest.

On June 15, 2024, police were contacted in relation to a shoplifting incident. It is alleged the man attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. An investigation ensued. The man was located and while being questioned, he allegedly gave police several false names. His identity was ultimately revealed, the warrant was executed, the man was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 16, 2024. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the original matter.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 15, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on June 15, 2024, the youth was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to remain in his residence between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. It is also alleged on this date, the youth left his residence after 10 p.m. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Later on June 15, 2024, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

FAIL TO COMPLY, UTTERING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Ottawa man was arrested on June 16, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Seven counts of fail to comply with release order
  • Seven counts of fail to comply with communication order
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm - domestic

It is alleged on March 11, 2023, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not contact or communicate with his ex-girlfriend. It is also alleged on this date, the man was bound by a non-communication order with the relevant condition to not communicate with his ex-girlfriend. Furthermore, it is alleged, on this date, the man contacted his ex-girlfriend on seven separate occasions and threated to kill her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 16, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 9, 2024. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Nicholas Martin, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 16, 2024, and charged with two counts of theft under $5,000. It is alleged on June 10, 2024, the man attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 12, 2024, the man attended the same Second Street East business, selected merchandise and once again left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 16, 2024, the man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on July 16, 2024.
