FAIL TO ATTEND

Cornwall, ON – A 47-year-old man from Ottawa was arrested on June 23, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on May 19, 2026, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of fail to comply with appearance notice – court. On June 23, 2026, the man was located by a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad. The warrant was executed and he was later released to appear in court on Aug. 28, 2026. 

ASSAULT PEACE OFFICER

Cornwall, ON – A 64-year-old man from Ingleside, ON, was arrested on June 23, 2026, and charged with assault a peace officer. On June 23, 2026, members of the Cornwall Police Service were dispatched to a Ninth Street East business for an assault in progress, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man assaulted a Loss Prevention Officer at the business. He was located by police, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The man was later released to appear in court on July 28, 2026.

FAIL TO COMPLY, OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 23, 2026, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and operation while prohibited. On June 23, 2026, the man was taken into custody by members of the Canada Border Services Agency and subsequently turned over to the CPS. It is alleged on this date, he was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle while prohibited. He was taken into custody and charged accordingly – including multiple Highway Traffic Act violations. The man was later released to appear in court on July 29, 2026.
