FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 25, 2026, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on May 19, 2026, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to reside with a surety at a specific address. It is further alleged he breached the condition of his release order and as a result, a Cornwall Police Service officer developed reasonable and probable grounds for his arrest. On June 25, 2026, the man was taken into custody by a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad and subsequently turned over to the CPS. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO ATTEND

Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on June 25, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on May 12, 2026, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the charge of failure to attend court after having appeared. On June 25, 2026, the woman was taken into custody by a member of the OPP ROPE Squad and subsequently turned over to the CPS. The warrant was executed and she held for a bail hearing.

THEFT

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on June 25, 2026, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on June 23, 2026, the woman stole a stereo system from a motor vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. As a result, reasonable and probable grounds were developed for her arrest. On June 25, 2026, the woman was located by a CPS officer. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on July 30, 2026.
