HARASSMENT, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old man of North Augusta was arrested on June 27, 2024 and charged with uttering threats and criminal harassment. It is alleged on June 16, 2024, the man threatened his ex-girlfriend and repeatedly attempted to communicate with her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 27, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on July 23, 2024

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Zachary Myers, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on June 27, 2024, and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged on June 21, 2024, the man struck another individual known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 27, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Aug. 08, 2024.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – Derek Mayer, 41, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 27, 2024 and charged with;

  • Two counts of assault with a weapon
  • Possession of a weapon
  • Assault causing bodily hard
  • Administering a noxious thing

It is alleged that on June 27, 2024, the man struck an individual with a weapon and administered wildlife repellant. This caused the individual to sustain injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
