FAIL TO ATTEND
Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old youth from Finch was arrested on June 3, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on March 5, 2026, the youth was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the charge of fail to attend court as per undertaking. On June 3, 2026, the youth attended Cornwall Police Service headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court at a later date.
FAIL TO ATTEND
Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on June 3, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on July 22, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the charge of fail to attend court as per undertaking. On June 3, 2026, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on June 30, 2026.
FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on June 3, 2026, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on April 14, 2026, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged on this date, she attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. As a result, reasonable and probable grounds were developed for the woman’s arrest. On June 3, 2026, she was located by police, who were dealing with an unrelated matter. The woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on July 14, 2026.
FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on June 4, 2026, and charged with fail to comply with undertaking. In the early morning hours of June 4, 2026, CPS officers were dispatched to a 9-1-1 hang-up call, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not communicate, directly or indirectly, with his spouse. It is further alleged he was in communication with the woman. The man was subsequently located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
