FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 49-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on March 7, 2025, and charged with failing to comply with an undertaking. It is alleged on March 6, 2025, the man was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition not to contact his wife and failed to do so. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 7, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on April 3, 2025.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 46-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on March 7, 2025, on the strength of and outstanding warrant. It is alleged on March 6, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On March 7, 2025, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on April 17, 2025.

WEAPONS, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – On March 07, 2025, police responded to a weapons complaint in the area of Sydney Street. It is alleged that two youths approached individuals known to them, brandished a knife and a firearm, and then threatened to cause harm to another individual. Police responded immediately and located the two males. Following a brief pursuit, both males were taken into custody without incident. An investigation ensued.

As a result of the investigation, the two males were charged as follows;

• A 13-year-old youth of Cornwall was charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, and uttering threats.
• A 14-year-old youth of Cornwall was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, use of firearm in commission of an offence, possession of an imitation firearm, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, and uttering threats.

Both youths were released to appear in court at a later date.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on March 8, 2025, and charged with two counts of assault. It is alleged on Feb. 28, 2025, the man threw another individual to the ground and assaulted him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 8, 2025, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 14, 2025.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on March 9, 2025, and charged with two counts of failing to comply with probation. It is alleged on March 8, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not communicate with his wife. It is also alleged on this date, the man communicated with his wife. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 9, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on April 8, 2025.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 42-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on March 9, 2025 and charged with assault. It is alleged on this date, the woman assaulted her ex-boyfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on April 3, 2025.
