FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 12, 2025, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with release order and one count of fail to comply with undertaking.
It is alleged on March 11, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to not contact his ex-girlfriend and to not use or possess any computer or device that has access to the internet or other digital network. It is also alleged on this date, he was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not communicate with his ex-girlfriend. Furthermore, it is alleged on this date, the man communicated with his ex-girlfriend via a digital application.
Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
On March 12, 2025, the man attended Cornwall Police Service headquarters to address the matter. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
