FAIL TO ATTEND, FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on March 12, 2026, on the strength of outstanding warrants.
It is alleged on Aug. 28, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend the Cornwall Police Service for fingerprinting and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the charge of fail to attend for fingerprints – as per undertaking. It is also alleged on Sept. 23, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the charge of fail to attend for court – as per undertaking.
It is further alleged from April 7, 2025, to Nov. 16, 2025, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to report in person to a probation officer immediately upon release from custody and thereafter at all times and places as directed by the probation officer or any person authorized to assist in her supervision. She was also required to notify the court or probation officer in advance of any change of name or address and promptly notify the court or probation officer of any change in employment or occupation. She failed to do so, and a warrant was issued for her arrest on the charges of four counts of fail to comply with probation order.
On March 12, 2026, members of the Ontario Provincial Police Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad, with assistance from the CPS Criminal Investigation Division, located the woman.
The warrants were executed and she was held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on March 12, 2026, on the strength of outstanding warrants.
It is alleged on April 9, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of fail to attend for fingerprints – as per undertaking. It is also alleged on Aug. 26, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of fail to comply with appearance notice – court/fingerprinting.
On March 12, 2026, members of the OPP ROPE squad, with assistance from the CPS Criminal Investigation Division, located the man.
The warrants were executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
FAIL TO ATTEND
Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on March 12, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Nov. 6, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of failure to attend court after having appeared. On March 12, 2026, members of the OPP ROPE squad, with assistance from the CPS Criminal Investigation Division, located the man. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
SEXUAL ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on March 12, 2026, and charged with sexual assault. It is alleged in the early hours of Feb. 16, 2026, the man sexually assaulted an individual known to him at a Pitt Street establishment. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. As a result of the investigation, reasonable and probable grounds were developed for his arrest. On March 12, 2026, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on April 21, 2026.

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on March 13, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Feb. 26, 2026, the woman was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the charge of fail to comply with appearance notice – court/fingerprinting. In the early morning hours of March 13, 2026, police responded to a suspicious person complaint, and an investigation ensued. The woman was subsequently located by a CPS officer. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on April 21, 2026.
