WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on March 21, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Dec. 31, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On March 21, 2025, a Cornwall Police Service officer attended a Ninth Street East business to respond to a complaint. The woman was located, the warrant was executed, and she was held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT, INDECENT ACT, UTTERING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 63-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 21, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with indecent act – public place and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. It is alleged on March 20, 2025, the man exposed himself to an individual and made threats to kill the woman. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was subsequently issued for the man’s arrest. On March 21, 2025, members of the CPS responded to an unwanted person complaint in the area of Vincent Massey Drive. The man was located, the warrant was executed and he was charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on April 22, 2025.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old Longueuil, QC, woman was arrested on March 22, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Sept. 24, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On March 22, 2025, police responded to a suspicious person complaint in the area of Ninth Street East, and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, the warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT, SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 22, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and also charged with three counts of theft under $5,000 – shoplifting.

It is alleged on Feb. 11, 2025, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the item. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

It is also alleged on Feb. 23, 2025, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the item. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

Furthermore, it is alleged on Feb. 26, 2025, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the item. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

Finally, it is alleged on March 6, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest.  

On March 22, 2025, members of the CPS responded to an unwanted person complaint in the area of Second Street East, and an investigation ensued. The man was located, the warrant was executed, and he was charged accordingly. He was later released to appear in court on April 22, 2025.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old St-Bernadin, ON, woman was arrested on March 23, 2025, and charged with three counts of fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged on Feb. 27, 2025, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, to not contact or communicate in any way with her boyfriend and to not be within 100 metres of any place her boyfriend lives, works or frequents. It is also alleged on this date, the woman was in contact with her boyfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 23, 2025, CPS officers responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was later released to appear in court on April 15, 2025.

CALLS FOR SERVICE: There were 155 calls for service in the City of Cornwall over the weekend (8 a.m. Friday to 8 a.m. today).
