WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old man of Montreal, Quebec, was arrested on March 26, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Dec. 23, 2023, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to sign in with CPS. He failed to do so and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 26, 2025, the man was located and the warrant was executed. He was released to appear in court on May 01, 2025.
DOMESTIC THREATS, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 37-year-old man was arrested on March 26, 2025, and charged with two counts of uttering threats and mischief under $5,000. It is alleged on March 26, 2025, the man threated to cause harm to his spouse and daughter, and subsequently caused damage to property in their residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on April 15, 2025.
SHOPLIFTING, FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS
Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on March 26, 2025, and charged with 10 counts of theft under $5,000, and one count of failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on 10 separate occasions between Jan. 06, 2025 and March 03, 2025, the woman attended the LCBO, selected merchandise, and left the store without paying. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Furthermore, it is alleged on March 14, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend police headquarters to be fingerprinted and failed to do so. On March 26, 2025, the woman returned to LCBO, staff recognized her and contacted police. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.
