ASSAULT, THREATS, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old youth was arrested on March 4, 2026, and charged with two counts of assault, uttering threats and failing to comply with a peace bond. It is alleged that on Feb. 28, 2026, the youth was bound by a recognizance to keep the peace with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged that on that date, the youth assaulted and threatened another individual. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 4, 2026, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 47-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on March 4, 2026, and charged with mischief under $5,000. It is alleged that on March 4, 2026, the man damaged his girlfriend’s property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 31, 2026.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – A 54-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on March 4, 2026, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. It is alleged that on that date, the man was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 26, 2026.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on March 4, 2026, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. It is alleged that on March 4, 2026, members of community patrol responded to a motor vehicle collision. An investigation ensued and as a result, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 26, 2026.
