DOMESTIC ASSAULT, THREATS, HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on March 6, 2026, and charged with assault, uttering threats, and harassment. It is alleged between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31, 2025, the man assaulted his ex-girlfriend. It is also alleged on Jan. 01, 2026, the man threatened to cause harm to his ex-girlfriend. Furthermore, it is alleged between Feb. 2 and March 1, 2026, the man repeatedly communicated with his ex-girlfriend and attended places where she is known to be, causing her to fear for her safety. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on March 26, 2026.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 43-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on March 6, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Feb. 26, 2026, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and furthermore, assaulted her ex-boyfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for her arrest for charged of assault and failing to comply with probation. On March 6, 2026, the woman was located and the warrant was executed. She was released to appear in court on March 26, 2026.
