FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on May 23, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on May 22, 2024, the youth was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in his residence at all times. It is also alleged on this date, the youth left his residence without his social worker. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 23, 2024, the youth was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

FAIL TO COMPLY, ASSAULT, UTTERING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Tanisha Garlow-Lazore, 27, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 23, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of fail to comply with release order
  • Assault
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm

It is alleged on May 14, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to not contact or communicate with a specific individual and to not be within 150 meters of any place where you know the person to live, work or frequent. It is also alleged on this date, the woman was in communication with the person she was not supposed to communicate with. Furthermore, it is alleged, the woman assaulted another individual and threatened to kill her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 23, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO COMPLY, FAIL TO ATTEND

Cornwall, ON – Ashley Belanger-Boudrias, 26, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 23, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of fail to comply with release order
  • Fail to comply with probation order
  • Fail to attend for fingerprints

It is alleged on May 23, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to not communicate with a specific individual and to not attend this person’s address. It is also alleged on this date, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. Furthermore, it is alleged May 23, 2024, the woman caused a disturbance at the location she was prohibited from attending. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation also revealed the woman was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprints on May 8, 2024, and failed to do so. She was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The woman was held for a bail hearing.

CRIMINAL HARASSEMENT

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on May 23, 2024, and charged with criminal harassment - repeatedly follow and criminal harassment - repeatedly communicate. It is alleged between May 15, 2024, and May 22, 2024, the youth repeatedly followed and communicated with her ex-boyfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 23, 2024, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

FAIL TO COMPLY, FAIL TO ATTEND

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on May 23, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on April 27, 2024, the woman was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not communicate with her ex-boyfriend and to not go within 100 meters of his residence, work or any place he may be. It is also alleged on this date, the woman attended her ex-boyfriend’s residence and attempted to communicate with him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation also revealed the woman was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprints on April 29, 2024, and failed to do so. On May 23, 2024, the woman was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 13, 2024. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on May 23, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with undertaking and two counts of fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on May 19, 2024, the woman was bound by an undertaking with the relevant conditions to not communicate with her ex-boyfriend and to not be within 100 meters of his person, place of residence, employment or any place he may be. It is also alleged on this date, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to not communicate with her ex-boyfriend and to not be within 100 meters of his person, place of residence, employment or any place he may be. Furthermore, it is alleged on May 19, 2024, the woman attended her ex-boyfriend’s residence and attempted to communicate with him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 23, 2024, while police were dealing with a separate matter, the woman was located. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
