BREAK AND ENTER, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Edward Steptoe, 44, of Cornwall was arrested on Nov. 27, 2023, and charged with break and enter and two counts of fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged the man was previously bound by a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not possess break and enter tools. It is also alleged on Nov. 26, 2023, the man broke into a Montreal Road business with a tool and removed a quantity of items without permission from the occupants. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Nov. 27, 2023, the man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Nathalie Lavigne, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on Nov. 27, 2023, and charged with fail to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on Nov. 8, 2023, the woman was to scheduled to attend police headquarters to be fingerprinted; she failed to do so. On Nov. 27, 2023, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Dec. 28, 2023.
