FRAUD, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Cameron McBain, 30, of Summerstown, was arrested on Nov. 6, 2024, and charged with fraud under $5,000 and fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on July 29, 2024, the man stole an individual’s wallet and subsequently made fraudulent purchases. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. It is also alleged on Aug. 9, 2024, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to the bail supervision program. He failed to do so. On Nov. 6, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matters. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – Chris Graham, 59, of Cornwall, was arrested on Nov. 6, 2024, and charged with criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate and criminal harassment – beset and watch complainant. It is alleged on Oct. 31, 2024, the man harassed his neighbour. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Nov. 6, 2024, police located the man while dealing with a separate matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Dec. 12, 2024.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Michel Bellefeuille, 68, of Cornwall, was arrested on Nov. 6, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on Sept. 22, 2024, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Nov. 6, 2024, police located the man while dealing with a separate matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Dec. 12, 2024.  

CALLS FOR SERVICE

There were 60 calls for service in the City of Cornwall over the last 24 hours (8 a.m. yesterday to 8 a.m. today). CPS reserves the right to not post all calls for service in order to protect the identity of the victims.
