WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Rowan Mullings, 25, of Montague, ON, was arrested on Oct. 21, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Sept. 21, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Oct. 21, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on Nov. 28, 2024.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, SEXUAL ASSAULT, INTIMIDATION, SEXUAL ASSAULT WITH WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Oct. 21, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Domestic assault
  • Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
  • Intimidation – use or threatens use of violence
  • Sexual assault with a weapon on a person under 16 years of age

It is alleged in October 2023, the youth assaulted his girlfriend. It is also alleged on Oct. 25, 2023, the youth sexually assaulted his girlfriend. Furthermore, it is alleged in between Jan. 1, 2024, and March 21, 2024, the youth brandished a weapon and sexually assaulted the individual. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Oct. 21, 2024, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, in addition to protecting the identity of the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Oct. 21, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with the following:

  • Four counts of fail to comply with release order
  • Criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate
  • Extortion

It is alleged in August 2024, the youth was bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to notify the officer in charge of any change of address, to not contact or communicate in any way with his ex-girlfriend, to not be within 100 metres of his ex-girlfriend’s residence, place of work or anywhere she is known to frequent and to not attend his ex-girlfriend’s address. It is also alleged in August 2024, the youth harassed his ex-girlfriend by constantly calling and messaging her. Furthermore, it is also alleged, he threatened to share intimate images of his ex-girlfriend if she refused to communicate with him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for the youth’s arrest. On Oct. 21, 2024, he attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed, the youth was charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, in addition to protecting the identity of the victim in the matter.

There were 54 calls for service in the City of Cornwall over the last 24 hours (8 a.m. yesterday to 8 a.m. today). CPS reserves the right to not post all calls for service in order to protect the identity of the victims.
