WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Richard Saulnier, 44, of Cornwall, was arrested on October 26th, 2023, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on October 17th, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 26th, 2023, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter and the warrant was executed. He was released to appear in court on November 16th, 2023.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Morrow, 39, of Cornwall, was arrested on October 26th, 2023, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that between September 25th, 2023, and October 24th, 2023, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to report to a probation officer upon his release from custody, and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 26th, the man attended police headquarters. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on November 30th, 2023.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – James Stevenson, 56, of Cornwall, was arrested on October 26th, 2023, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on October 16th, 2023, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, to remained confined to his residence within a specific time frame, and to not leave his residence between a certain time frame. It is alleged that between these dates, the man was outside of his residence, when ordered to be confined to his home and during the time frame he was prohibited from leaving. On October 26th, 2023, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing. 

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old youth from Akwesasne was arrested on October 26th, 2023, and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on September 15th, 2023, the youth assaulted another student known to him. On October 26th, 2023, the youth attended police headquarters to address an unrelated matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear at a later date. Her name will not be released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON - Clifford Gagnon-Lepine, 37, of Bryson, QC, was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on October 21st, 2023, the man failed to stop after an accident. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 26th, 2023, the man was located. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 14th, 2023.

THREATS, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on October 26th, 2023, and charged with nine counts of failing to comply with probation and two counts of uttering threats. It is alleged that on August 25th, 2023, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and to not communicate indirectly with a specific individual. It is also alleged that she was bound a separate probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On this date, it is alleged that the woman indirectly communicated with the person she was prohibited from communicating with. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. It is also alleged that on October 10th, 2023, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and to not communicate with a specific individual. It is alleged that she was bound a separate probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on October 10th, 2023, the woman communicated with the individual she was prohibited from communicating with. It is also alleged that on October 25th, 2023, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and to not communicate indirectly with a specific individual. It is alleged that she was bound a separate probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on October 25th, 2023, the woman threatened to cause harm to her ex-boyfriend and the person she’s prohibited from communicating with. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 27th, 2023, the woman was located during an unrelated matter, was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victims.
