FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 45-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 21, 2026, and charged with fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged from Aug. 20, 2026, to Sept. 16, 2026, the man was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to notify the Cornwall Police Service within 24 hours in writing of any change of address. It is further alleged he failed to do so. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. As a result, reasonable and probable grounds were developed for his arrest. On Sept. 21, 2026, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 27, 2026.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 21, 2026, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on Sept. 14, 2026, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to report to the CPS on a weekly basis. It is further alleged he failed to do so. As a result, reasonable and probable grounds were developed for his arrest. On Sept. 21, 2026, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO ATTEND, FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – A 46-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 21, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and additionally charged with fail to comply with probation order as well as theft under $5,000 – shoplifting.

It is alleged on June 30, 2026, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of fail to comply with appearance notice – court.

On Sept. 21, 2026, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged he attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located and taken into police custody. The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO ATTEND

Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 21, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Aug. 27, 2026, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of fail to attend for court – as per undertaking. On Sept. 21, 2026, the man was located at the courthouse. The warrant was executed and he was returned to cells to await a bail hearing.
