FAIL TO COMPLY, DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 2, 2026, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of domestic assault. On Sept. 2, 2026, Cornwall Police Service officers were dispatched to an intimate partner violence complaint, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not buy, possess or consume alcohol or other intoxicating substances. It is further alleged she assaulted her boyfriend while under the influence of drugs. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was held in custody to await a bail hearing.

THEFT

Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old youth from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 2, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. On July 10, 2026, a CPS officer was dispatched to investigate a theft complaint. It is alleged on this date, the youth attended the residence of an individual known to him and stole her property. As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of theft under $5,000. On Sept. 2, 2026, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court at a later date.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 12-year-old youth from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 2, 2026, and charged with assault. It is alleged on Sept. 2, 2026, the youth assaulted his mother. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The youth was released to appear in court at a later date.
