CPS ASKING PUBLIC TO COMPLETE STRATEGIC PLAN SURVEY

Cornwall, ON – The Cornwall Police Services (CPS) is inviting all community members to take part in a survey to assist in the development of its 2025-2028 Strategic Plan.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and contains a series of questions surrounding the public’s perception of crime and safety in the City of Cornwall. The survey also includes several demographic questions toward the end, to allow the CPS to better understand its community.

The CPS aims to provide quality services in an equitable and accessible manner and prides itself on being a diverse and non-discriminatory police service. These questions are compiled for statistical purposes only, to assist the CPS in the development of its 2025-2028 Strategic Plan.

The survey will be also be available in multiple other languages. Details will be released in the coming days.

Additionally, paper copies of the survey are available at CPS headquarters (340 Pitt Street) and at the Crime Reduction & Community Partnerships office (330 Montreal Road). Members of the CPS Auxiliary Program will also be distributing paper copies of the survey to various locations within the City of Cornwall, beginning next week.

All answers will remain anonymous.

The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m.
