Cornwall, ON - The Cornwall Police Service (CPS) would like to advise the public of a police training exercise taking place in the area of 510 Mercier Avenue from approximately 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 and Tuesday, November 9th, 2021.

The training will result in a large police presence, as well as noises replicating the sound of gunfire. Please note that no live ammunition will be used and there will be no threat to public safety.

There will be no traffic disruptions as a result of the training exercise; however, the public is asked to avoid the area if at all possible.

The Cornwall Police Service wishes to thank the public in advance for their understanding for any inconveniences that may occur during the training session.
