TWO INDIVIDUALS DEAD, ONE SERIOUSLY INJURED IN SHOOTING INCIDENT

Cornwall, ON – On Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, members of the Cornwall Police Service (CPS) responded to a shooting incident on Leitch Drive. Upon arrival, officers located three individuals, all known to one another, who had sustained serious injuries.

Two of the individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene. The third individual sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital, where they were treated and are currently listed in stable condition.

This incident is believed to be isolated, and there is no ongoing risk to public safety. Members of the CPS remain in the area as the investigation continues.

For the integrity of the ongoing investigation, no further details will be released at this time.
